The Southwest Florida Water Management District has declared a Phase 3 water shortage. Effective 4/3, Dunedin water customers will be limited to 4 hours of potable water irrigation on their assigned day. The new restrictions will not impact reclaimed water usage.
The City of Dunedin Communications Department supports all City Departments in an effort to keep citizens engaged and informed via the City of Dunedin website, City of Dunedin social media channels, livestream Commission meetings, and the weekly DunediNEWS e-newsletter. The Communications Department assists with all public communications including media relations, photo, video & media requests and emergency response communications.
Effective May 5, 2026, the City of Dunedin will disable comment functionality on all City-owned social media platforms, consistent with the Social Media User Agreement decided upon by the City Commission. Download the City's 2026 Social Media Comment Policy.(DOCX, 18KB)
