Claw Services

The City's Solid Waste Division can provide you with temporary dumpsters or the claw truck for a special project when normal levels will not be enough to collect the debris. They can provide various sizes and types of containers depending on the amount and type of work being done.

The City's Solid Waste Division is not equipped to accommodate landscaping debris including concrete, dirt, and stone.  For those projects, contact a private company for disposal.

These services last for two calendar weeks and can accommodate most situations.

Fee based services require an active utility account with the City of Dunedin for billing purposes.

The Division provides Claw Truck Clean Up Services for large bulky items and big piles of brush.

  • Contact Solid Waste to request a site visit and estimate. To expedite this protocol customers may submit photos to solidwaste@dunedin.gov to receive an estimate.
  • Estimates are based on volume and must be inspected either in person or via photos.
  • Take photos from the street where the house is in the background to give an appropriate size perspective. Photos that are too close or blurry may still require a site visit.
  • Include address, name and contact number with online submissions.
  • Information on how bulk pile volume is calculated can be reviewed in our Estimating Procedure.(PDF, 169KB)

Appliance Disposal
