The Southwest Florida Water Management District has extended the Phase 3 water shortage through March 31, 2027. Dunedin water customers will be limited to 4 hours of potable water irrigation on their assigned day. The restrictions will not impact reclaimed water usage.

With the November General Election just a month away, the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce and League of Women Voters presented an opportunity for residents to hear from City and County Commission candidates during a public question and answer forum on Thursday, October 1, at the Hale Senior Activity Center.
The Forum, which was livestreamed, included Dunedin City Commission candidates for Seat 4: Janice “Nan” Bennett and Mark Ossian and Pinellas County Commission candidates for District 2 at-large: Timothy Hughes and Brian Scott, the incumbent.
Candidates addressed questions which included traffic/transportation management, property tax reform, Home Rule, parking and development.
The General Election is Tuesday, November 3. Early voting begins October 19 – November 1, 2026.
