Detour Update for Skinner Blvd Improvements Project

The existing closure of westbound Skinner Boulevard opens to motorists on Tuesday, May 6. Crews will then close eastbound Skinner Boulevard from the Pinellas Trail to east of Highland Avenue for approximately four months, weather permitting.

During this temporary road closure, motorists will have to detour around the work zone using Broadway and Main Street.

Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area. Access to businesses and residents will be maintained. Visit the FDOT webpage for more information on the project.
