Contract Awarded for Construction of New Pier at Dunedin Marina

A contract has been awarded for the demolition of the old pier and construction of a new pier, day docks and emergency docks at the Dunedin Marina. The City Commission approved the award to On-Point Contracting Company, LLC at its January 8 meeting. Demolition is estimated to begin in March, with construction expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

Construction also continues on the north seawall at the Dunedin Marina. The City Commission awarded the repair contract to BDI Marine in July and construction began in October. Repairs to the east seawall are scheduled to follow, with seawall construction expected to be completed in spring 2026.
