Rain Barrel Workshop

The 2026 Rain Barrel Workshop will be held at Eagle Scout Park. Selected participants will learn from a UF/IFAS Extension Agent on how to best set up their rain barrel, as well as how the captured water can be used.

Some benefits of collecting rainwater include:

  • Reduction of potable water usage
  • Erosion reduction
  • Reduction of storm-water runoff
  • Cost savings on your residential water bill

Rain barrel uses can be:

  • Irrigation of plants and landscaping
  • Bird Baths
  • Washing cars
  • Cleaning garden tools

Space is limited. Sign up here to participate and receive a free rain barrel. Rain barrels are limited to those who register.
