Volunteer

The library offers volunteer opportunities for teens and adults. Our volunteers assist in many areas of the library, including:

Shelving books, DVDs and other materials
Keeping the library shelves tidy and in order
Inspecting and cleaning returned DVDs, games and other media

Prospective volunteers are invited to complete an application, which can be obtained at the library or downloaded below. Please return a completed application by email to library@dunedin.gov or bring a printed copy to the Circulation desk or Youth Services desk.

Adult volunteer applications are accepted on a continuing basis. Teen volunteer applications are accepted during the following times:

January 1^st – 24^th 2026
August 1^st – 22^nd 2026
