As a part of our ongoing storm recovery efforts, the City of Dunedin has begun the process of working through assessing damaged structures as a part of FEMA requirements. Starting October 31, you will see contractor teams from Tetra Tech, the firm we have hired to assist us with completing the assessment process within FEMA’s required timelines. Here’s what you can expect as these teams begin their work within our community:

·         Teams will begin to assess structures from the “curbside” in vehicles and will frequently take photos from the vehicle

·         In some cases, these teams will be on foot and need to take multiple photos and record basic information like your address

·         Each of these team members will have yellow, reflective vests on

·         Each of these teams will be using handheld electronic devices (tablets and smartphones) to record the necessary information

·         Each of these contractors will have a credential that indicates they are a Tetra Tech contractor that they can display via QR code on their devices
